(Read What Not To Miss at AFO!) Our team has decided where our first official convention excursion will be heading: to Florida! Even though our operations are based out of Iowa, we've decided we'll start our official convention reviewing, news stories, and live coverage with Anime Festival Orlando July 31-August 2nd!
To start with an introduction, my name is Ryan Kopf. I am the developer, designer, and administrator of this website, and wholly in charge of our convention listings. More about me later, even though I'm not too important.
The UpcomingCons.com team, which will consist of me and Elsie, will work hard throughout the weekend covering as much of the convention as possible. Our detailed itinerary includes review of the convention overall, review of several events, and lots of pictures along the way. We might even use spellcheck!
We will also tweet live from the convention, and upload photos live using our new photo gallery feature (view demo).
We hope to provide some of the most extensive convention coverage available on the web. Before we go we're taking inventory of our supplies, cameras, laptops, etc, and extensively detailing our itinerary. Special thanks to AFO 10 for their accommodation. One small note - it's probably going to be really hot in Florida.
