Frequently after a convention gets over a thousand attendees you stop seeing staff members or interacting with the people that run the convention, but that hasn't happened at Nebraskon 2009.
Even some of the convention's entertainment was friendly and like part of a tradition. We quickly learned that Nebraskon attendees like swords, meeting Nebraskon's bard (Aaron Stoliker).

The convention's attendees were so excited during the convention that at one point we found over a hundred attendees taped together using Duct Tape, stampeding down the hallways chanting "one of us".
Nebraskon featured a nice sized Dealer's room and artist alley, with a few dozen vendors selling everything from hats and cat ears to Ramune and Pocky. There were dozens of unique panels, and a gaming room.
Overall, this Nebraskon was just as fun as we've heard about previous years, and we're sure it will continue as a friendly, tradition-filled, fun-centered anime convention for years to come.
