Registration System Setup
Getting started with our registration management system is easy. First, create an account on UpcomingCons.com and email us with your username so that we can authorize you for your convention. Your convention will also need to be listed on UpcomingCons.
Add Price Tiers
Login and add the price tiers that you want. The badge type you choose will be the badge type that shows up on generated badges, unless you make them "Custom" and then the name you type will be added. This allows you to make registration names that are helpful to potential attendees, like "Early Bird Registration" and still put "Weekend" on their badge.
Just point register.yourdomain.com to our IP: 126.96.36.199. Your webmaster should know how to do this. If you handle your domain name yourself, there are instructions online for setting this up. Here are the values you will need.
Setting up Paypal IPN enables the system to automatically mark "paid" on registrations once they have been paid for. Login to PayPal and visit My Account -> Profile -> Selling Tools -> Instant Payment Notification.
Set it to Enabled, and "http://register.yourcon.org/paypal/ipn"
