Pop Stuff Expo 2014

Pop Stuff Expo comes to Ventura County! The first annual Pop Stuff Expo, a family friendly popular culture event, will take place at the Ventura County Fairgrounds in the beach side community of Ventura CA on May 10th and 11 of 2014. This event will feature guests from many genres of popular culture such as Sci-fi, special fx makeup, wrestling, horror, art, comics, videos games and more. There will be activities for fans of all ages; costume contests, chances to meet pirates, an independent wrestling demonstration, gaming tournaments and more. The exhibitor hall will feature artists, businesses and vendors from all over southern California and the surrounding areas. A themed after party will also be held that Saturday night at a local downtown Ventura venue. Pop Stuff Expo is an event to bring together fans from many genres to enjoy a weekend of shopping, dressing up and meeting their favorite guests. Discussion panels will ran throughout the day on various topics such as costuming, steampunk and other pop culture themes, and Q&A’s with guests such as two time Face-off contestant Frank Ippolito. Fans may also enjoy live wrestling shows presented by Vendetta Pro Wrestling featuring guests such as former WWE super star Gangrel. The Exhibitor hall will offer families a chance to meet guests, see live makeup demonstrations by Chrissy Lynn, shop from artists, vendors and businesses as well as interact with local costuming groups. Single day and weekend passes are now on sale and available online at www.popstuffexpo.com. Weekend passes may be purchased for $30 at Hypno Comics in Ventura and at Main St. Comics in Santa Paula.
