Kenny Loui

A jack-of-all-trades, Dr. Kenny Loui wears multiple hats in his professional career: He’s a criminology professor, award-winning graphic novelist, and voiceover actor. Since venturing into the voiceover space in a valiant attempt to fulfill his long-deferred childhood dream of “becoming a toon,” Kenny has lent his voice to leading and supporting roles in various productions including the Korean animated series, Supertrons, and the English dub of the Korean variety show, Country Life of Gen Z.

Kenny hit the ground running, voicing a variety of characters in animated films, audio dramas, and video games; and within less than a year of voice acting, was nominated for the One Voice Awards’ Voiceover Newcomer of the Year in 2025. A year later, Kenny was nominated for his second One Voice Award in the category of Best Male Lead Performance in an Audio Drama.

Kenny voices Nute, the lone survivor of Planet Peacenet and one of the three leads; Velo, a fierce and speedy velociraptor and one of the five dino-heroes; and a multitude of supporting characters in the English dub of Supertrons. Kenny also serves as Supertrons’ script adaptation writer, bringing his expertise in penning smart, engaging and witty dialogue to the English version of the series.

In addition to his voiceover work, Kenny is an author-publisher who has written comics and scripts for short films and audio dramas, including his award-winning graphic novel memoirs, Life Lessons from a UFO Catcher, Dad vs. The World, and There is No Shrimp… And Other Lies My Mother Told Me.

His upcoming comic projects are “Lessons from a Mother” in Tomorrow Girl Annual #1 and “The Comic Con Criminal” in Ninja High School: Yearbook 2027 from Antarctic Press, and There’s a Monster in the House, the first volume of UFO Comics’ new anthology series, Asian American Horror Story.
