We're joining with Planet Comicon for the second time to host the Spectrum Pavillion and the Spectrum 27 Awards March 20-22, 2020 in Kansas City. Almost 70,000 people attended the show this year and gave the Spectrum exhibitors the foot traffic (and potential customers) we've always wanted for our SFAL community. Thanks to everyone who answered the survey Jeff Smith sent out some weeks back, we're planning to increase and improve the SFAL presence at Planet, with better delineation of the Spectrum exhibition space and a focused programing track devoted to Spectrum and the fantastic arts. We've got a LOT in the planning stages but we need everyone's help to make SFAL stand out. Planet CC will be sending out SFAL exhibitor codes to everyone who purchased space (or expressed interest) in 2019: use that code to be buy a table or booth in the Spectrum section of the floor. Booths and tables may be shared by more than one artist. IF YOU DIDN'T TAKE PART THIS YEAR but want to exhibit in 2020 tell Planet you want to part of the Spectrum space when you sign up. NOTE: as one of the largest and most successful pop culture shows in the midwest, Planet Comicon has a long waiting list for vendors interested in purchasing booths and the window for SFAL exhibitors to reserve their space will be limited. We know it's an extremely busy time of year convention-wise so if you want to show at PlanetCC/SFAL but need a little time to make your payment email them at exhibitors@planetcomicon.com to make arrangements. We'll be sharing more news about 2020 soon, but whether you plan to exhibit or simply attend the show, we hope as many of you as possible can join us next Spring to celebrate the art community!
