Shore Leave 2012

SHORE LEAVE is one of the oldest and largest all-volunteer, all-fan-run sci-fi and media conventions in the nation, now celebrating it's 34th annual gathering. This year's convention will take place the first weekend of August 2012 (instead of it's traditional mid-July slot due to other major conventions the same weekend)at our usual locale, the beautiful Marriott's Hunt Valley Inn just north of Baltimore, Maryland. Shore Leave is literally a 3-day festival celebrating the worlds of science fiction and fantasy. It honors the past, celebrates the present, and dreams about the future..all in the presence of a few thousand of your closest genre-loving friends. With several tracks of programming taking place simultaneously all through the weekend, basically everyone regardless of their favorites, will be able to find something fascinating to do and interesting people to meet during your time at Shore Leave!
