RVA Heroes 2025

A geek event like no other! RVA Heroes is a GALA even, with Dinner and stage performances that honor both fictional and real life superheroes! Our host is Christina Masterson, the pink Megaforce Power Ranger We will feature a keynote speech on overcoming life's obstacles by IronE Singleton, aka T-Dog on The Walking Dead There will also be a musical performance by Tina Turner's long-time saxophonist Tim Capello, who was featured in an iconic scene in The Lost Boys. Also, Mike Kellher, the appraiser on The Discover Channel's Filthy Fortunes will discuss why you should check the values before throwing out your geeky memorabilia. We will also feature our fourth annual Geek Chic Fashion Show, featuring couture inspired by Jurassic Park, Miraculous Ladybug, Star Trek, Game of Thrones and more! And as always...we will honor 4 local real-life superheroes who serve the community! This year we celebrate the work of a mental health charity worker, an investigative journalist, a nurse, and an emergency room crisis worker! VIP ticket holders will be let in one hour early for a mixer where they can meet the celebrities and Heroes...and autographs and pictures with the celebrities are FREE during this time.
